Does anyone have a problem with scraping Apexi N1 muffler?
I have an 01 Type R and I want to get the Apexi N1 exhaust but I noticed in some pics you guys sent that the N1 muffler hangs low. In one of the pics there was a Type R stock height and the exhaust looked like it only had another 6" of ground clearance. The problem is my Type R is slammed and I don't know if the Apexi N1 exhaust will have enough ground clearance. Does anyone have a lowered Type R with the N1 exhaust? If so, can you tell me if you have a problem with ground clearance?
If your car is "slammed" then you might run into clearance problems with the N1. With a "slammed" car your gonna have problems bottoming out. I would raise the car a little. Not worth ****** up your car to be slammed..
my friend has one (but it is on a 2000 EK) and he was scrapping like a *****! he was able to wrap some piping metal stuff....you know that metal strip that has holes in it....around the exhaust right before the muffler and then wrapped it around something else right above the muffler to hold it up....now he doesn't scrape a bit.
