I have recently brought a b16a (JDM import) off a friend to fit in my EG hatch. THe only trouble is the engine revs then drops(around 1.5k to 2.5k then back), constantly whilst ticking over. I have asked around and aparently its the idle control valve and others have said its a vacuum hose.
Any ideas?

do you have any check engine lights?? if not im guessing the fast idle valve that sits under the throttle body
