Would 88-91 front shocks fit an EG??

Would 88-91 front shocks fit an EG??

I know the entire shock length is shorter on the EF than it is on the EG but other than that, I'm not sure if it'll work and I don't have a set of Front Shocks from an EF to try on my EG.

Can anyone help?

They will bolt on but they are much shorter than EG shocks and will not handle as well.

now would the poor handling come from the change in geometry or the lack of travel?

Most likely in lack of travel and weight.
