Default Your opinion.

Im wanting to get some opinions before i go any further painting my wheels.

15" Rota Grids that were Black with a Polished Lip.

I have painted Black with a Purple lip:

Started to grow out of that and i stripped all 4 down to re-do it in black, with a blue lip:

I lost sunlight and had to put the other two polished wheels back on. Now they are looking pretty damn good compared to that Black/Blue

What do you guys think. Im leaning towards Stripping them back down and going blue with a polished lip. I was inspired by this S2K i saw at the 06 Nopi Nats in ATL:

but about 2-3shades lighter than the blue that was on the lip I did. Its going to have the anodized look. Any opinions?

OT: (sry...im bored) My next project. My sisters car:

She finally got one. The motor (now) has very close to 200k miles. Im either going to find her another z6, or just get her a ZC. Its an auto. Shes only 15 and my damn Honda Tuning mags are starting to vanish at the blink of an eye. Hasnt even gotten her license yet. At least i get to teach her right.

I did, however, have to let her put at LEAST one other decal on her car:

I like the idea, but the black w/ blue lip looked better IMO. Are those Altezzas I spy?

yeah had to have SOME sort of brake lights. When i got the car. the idiot who had it before me sprayed the damn brake lights with primer and tried to strip it off...= fkd up brake lights. this has been one hell of a project. Props to my buddy over at Autoworks helping me get past all the bumps in the road. Its a complete restoration/build...i am FAR from done. If you happen to have a set of stock (jdm/usdm i dont care) let me know! This is what the car looked like when i picked it up...

with a locked up d15.

compared to what it looks like now:

but like i said. it is FAR from done. Sometime soon i want to put it on the dyno before i do anymore to it. Still havent even broke in the motor. Im waiting on my wire harness to come back.

Yeah. Im leaning more towards the polished. Im wanting to rock that anodized blue w/polished lip. but i think im going to go with the polished wheels for a little while. im open to anything. I even thought about pink for a minute then decided against it. haha!

What do you guys think about black...but with a satin finish to it (for the car). I saw a satin blk R32 that just screamed "Paint your car like THIS!" when i find the link again I will be sure to post it.

Wow, honestly, stay with the polished silver. That looks so good. But if you really want to stand out, I would say hit up that s2000 look. Damn stylin,.
Keep up the sick work

lol...basically! Im going to leave the wheels with the polished look until i get some of the body work done and get it painted. not SERIOUSLY concerned with paint and all, but i would like for it to look decent.

I totally agree... I've thought of 100 different ways to paint my LS weels, but in the end I always decide that polished is nicer looking.
