Hi,

Thanks.

The instructions linked to from the FAQ:

http://syclone.motocrew.com/CG5/acfilter.htm

I believe that the procedure is a little different for '98, '99, '00 vs '01 and '02, but I'm not sure. How was she able to do it without unplugging the passenger side airbag? I also remember a metal bar I had to work around and I don't remember there being a way to take it off (as they did in the linked instructions).

I recommend picking up a Haynes manual or, better yet (but more $$$) a Helm's manual.

The filter I took out at 30K was clean, I put the new one in but I won't be changing it again until 90K miles which isn't too far away, I'm at 86K now.

I've changed my cabin filter out twice now, each after about 60,000 miles. Each time the filters were disgustingly filthy and black with all sorts of stuff trapped in the filters.

If it means anything, I have a '99 and those instructions are identical to what I had to do to change mine.

Nothing... Most manufacturers didn't start using cabing filters until the late 90's or later.

well there is a basic paper/screen filter that keeps the larger crap out of the ventalation system but does nothing to stop the dust and smoke
