4th annual IMPORT FACE-OFF presented by Fowler Scion: Sunday, April 22nd at Thunder Valley Raceway in Noble, OK (20 miles south of OKC) from 11am to 6pm.

EVENT ACTIVITIES: Car/truck/bike show, hot body contest, 1/4 mile drag racing, burnout contest, stereo crank it up contest (Usaci double points), vendors, raffles and giveaways, Mixed Martial Arts exhibition (open submission grappling competition), pre-show party, DJs, and live concert. DJs, bands, and rap artists, call 225-247-7223 to be booked.

SHOW CLASSES: Best Interior, Best Paint/Finish, Best Engine Bay, Best Display, Best Mitsubishi, Best Toyota, Best Scion, Best Nissan, Best Mazda, Best Euro, Best Civic (mild), Best Civic (wild), Best Other Honda (mild), Best Other Honda (wild), Best Acura (mild), Best Acura (wild), Best Other Import (Subaru, Hyundai, etc.), Best Domestic Sports Compact, Best Domestic Car, Best Domestic Truck/SUV, Best Import Truck/SUV, Best Luxury, Best Exotic, Best Underconstruction, Best Club Participation, Best Club Representation $200, Best of Show $300. Additional classes and/or places to be added depending on participation (usually a class for every 4 of a specific make/model vehicle). *Note, this competition will be judged by IFO staff. Import Face-Off will no longer be judged by outside sanctioning bodies (too many complaints).

We need help passing out flyers. If anyone would like to help, please email your name and mailing address to hybridentertainment78@yahoo.com. Promoters are assigned a number and are paid on commission, $2 for every flyer that comes in with your number on it. Ex, if 50 of your flyers come in, you will receive a check for $100. Spectators bring in the flyers because of the $2 off admission coupon. Please do not sign up for the program if you do not plan on passing out the flyers. The prints and shipping aren't cheap.

Its fiesta weekend in san antonio. You can see where my priorites are now.

 

we'e questionable now... had a little mishap with the car... hopefully it will be up and running, and tuned on Tuesday, then test and tune on Wednesday... to the wire.

New big valve head and cams are going in... up to this point, the head and cams have been stock. If we get there, it should be pretty interesting

That's good you guys got the V-dub back together.
We've seen you guys at Kennedale, we pitted a couple cars down.

 

tuned and ready to run... 700+. Should move pretty well if the gearbox stays together.

I was gonna go but another race team I am working with is having me drive their fuel altered in Shreveport and sorry but, the faster stuff takes priority. Plus it looks good to tack that on your resume if your trying to go to the Powerade series someday.

 

So, no extreme vtec racing?

 

Nope, none. I almost I wish would have gone now cause we did nothing but get our *** kicked cause we shook the tires every lap. And we went out in the first round.

 

So how did it go today? What did the All Motor guys run?

Our differential decided it didn't like being inside the transmission anymore so it decided to leave.

We only got one 1/8th mile test pass down. In the first round our transmission grenaded itself. After that we were in Noble hunting down a tow dolly.

Wind was nuts all day... track was hooking decent on the small, but we were spinning on the big. That and we were having shifting issues all day, thinking we have a bad cable. No runs worth mentioning, but enough to get into the final round again.

Congrats to Phong for putting another one in the win column.
