Design Input - Looking for Testers
I am creating some sway bar braces, much like others on the market, and would like to know what you guys...the market...would like to see. Here is a rendering of what they look like.
Basic design incorporates an M8 bolt, to prevent the enlarging of the upper hole like other kits.
Like the title suggests, I am also looking for a couple of you that might be interested in testing these guys.

Sorry, this is my first post...I think I should have put this in the 1992-2000 forum. The initial design was around a EG hatch. Let me know if you think if might fit your years though. Or tell me what needs to change to make it fit.

I now have new ones made, newer design, more surface area to support the subframe.

well, the 88-91 civic rear swaybar doesn't mount to the subframe like the EG/DC/EK cars do. it mounts to the underside of the frame rail, under the trunk, where the tow hooks are.
So unfortunately, there probably wouldn't be much use for those on an EF, unless someone came out with a kit to relocate the swaybar mounts to the rear subframe.
Good luck with your idea though.

Here's what I need out of my testers:
Digital Camera (or ability to post photos)
Ability to test in enviroments other then just street (autocross, etc)
Ability to give positive and negative feedback.
I will plan on making 3 of these to send out to testers.
PM me if you think you fit the requirements, and a little blurb why.

i probably cant provide the kind of testing you need. if you get good feedback are you planning on selling them? im upgrading my suspension soon and will def me interested if your brace gets good reviews.

The Idea is to provide a comperable product like the ones on the market, but to the recommendations of the racer. I see many postings about which brand is better. If I can produce something that will hold up in a real-world enviroment plus the abuse of track time... I don't think there would be anything to argue about. But yes, selling in the future is a big reason. Until then...testing = free product.
I plan on using tester for many products in the future. So if you want the stuff, you need to reply to me.

Unless you can offer this for less than $40-50 (ie, less than the beaks kit) .... you're not going to have much to stand on in the market. Your kit looks almost identical to the Beaks kit, which is not that great of a kit in the first place.
