Glad I found this site. I hope you can help. I tried searching for previous topics, but could find the right key words to narrow down a good search, so here goes...

I recently picked up a 91 Accord LX. It recently started having a problem where I'll be driving along and the speedometer drops to zero. It will bounce around sometimes, but usually adjusts back to my current speed. Often times if it drops for long enough or bounces around enough, it will trigger the "S" light to start blinking. Tonight the "Check Engine" light came on too. If I stop the engine and restart the car, the lights will go off.

Driving or speed doesn't seem to actually be affected by this behavior, for what I can tell.

What trouble code does it have stored? It's most likely a bad speed sensor.

I checked the code and if I'm doing it right, I get 4 blinks from the LED light under the carpet on the passenger's side.
