I just completed my 1992 SI and I wanted to know the future potential of this car on a 1/4 mile. It is currently in the shop getting painted but I wanted to know what to expect at the track Here are the list of things that I have on it at the moment.
B16 Head (stock) with ARP head bolts
B20B short block (stock)
ITR Intake (Ported)
68mm Erick's Racing throttle body
ITR S80 LSD transmission
Tilton 7lbs. Flywheel & a 6 puck no spring clutch disk.
Fuel pressure regulator & gauge
ITR 4-1 header (original, not a copy)
Straight pipe all the way down
REAL SPOON wheels on Falken Azenis (not fake rotas, these way 7lbs each wheel)
Ericks P30 Chipped ECU
ITR shift linkage
Everything else is pretty much stock, this is a work in progress and this car might be for sale soon. But I would like to get some opinions. Keep in mind that the suspension is still stock... It is only lowered on some cheap springs for now.

Why can't we help the guy out with some ideas of what to expect on the dyno?

What he's asking about isn't really bench racing, IMHO.

I see that people say 9's here... I take it they are reffering to 1/8 mile runs, not 1/4 mile right? Am I am running on Cheater Slicks, but I will probably barrow my buddies Lenso 22" slicks to make a few passes.

theyre being sarcastic man. no one can pull a number out of their head and tell you what times you'll run. just have to go out there and see for yourself. you never know, you maybe a crappy driver and run 1 sec slower than another guy who can drive good.

We'll see how it performs. I've never delt with an LS/Vtec just GSR's or B16's... That's why I am curious.

 

Anyone know how long is the trial period? I wasn't able to post up more than 5 post yesterday. Grrrr

gimme a break. worthless cams and worthless pistons.


no compression, okay yeah he has the almighty vtec and a 2.0L but its mostly bolt ons, real spoon wheels, and a throttle body that's way too big for his setup.

 

i just dyno my car and i made 192 horse and 132 torque. all stock ls-vtec. head have itr internals. so i think you'll be looking at the same horse or more. some folks say 13's all motor but don't know. not really sure til hit the tracks.
