Who has an LS Turbo CRX???
I am looking for people who have had turbocharged B18a/b LS setups on their CRX's or ED hatches. I have a 1990 CRX and I am tired of messing with the DX DPFI D15 on it. I want to do an LS swap with either a GT2871r or a GT30 @ around 10psi. How much power on a stock block/head w/ the normal boltons can I get out of that setup and what times should I be expecting.
Keep in mind this is my first turbo Honda build so I am highly curious. And it WILL be done right as I will be extremely nitpicky about what is done.
Thanks for the help guys

NOPE sorry...my car was turboed before I bought it. It certainly didnt have 300 whp.

it should probably be around like 250 or 225 at the wheels...but truthfully it all depends on the tuning
and internals...and heat...and etc

Yes this will be my DD...at least for a bit until I get a cheap beater. I am planning on building the poopie out of the head though and doing some block work, like knife-edge the crank, h-beams, wiseco pistons. Hopefully that will up my reliability and shouldn't hurt to up the boost a bit more every now and then given the fact I will have far more durability internally
As far as the not having 300whp. There are too many factors there to compare. The GT turbos IMO are better than your average t3/t4 or t04e charger. From what I have read and from what my friends have built. That is why I am going with the GT series. I guess he was saying that on up to 14 psi with those GT chargers, more advanced fuel system and all the minor bolt-on modifications, that 300whp is possible. I don't think I will push that much though. I am thinking maybe around 240-250whp on low boost. I just want to hear from people who have built LS turbos in ED's.

well if your putting rods and pistons in it. then you could see near 350whp on like 15psi and a nice tune. tunning is the key. but if you have rods and pistons you can easily see over 300whp.
