Feeler... built dyno tuned 220+whp b20VTEC swap w/ 4.7 ITR tranny and Quaiffe LSD
I'm toying w/ the idea of parting out my '94 hatch. Would anyone close to the Detroit area be interested in this motor swap? Over $9k invested (had reciepts from Payn Technologies) in the motor alone! The block is a Golden Eagle sleeved/PINNED b20z block(bulletproof), and has endyne rollerwave mid-dome pistons and eagle rods. ~12.5:1-12.7:1 Compression. Mildly worked B16 head w/ Crane cams and ITR manifold. Mugen oil pan and external oil cooler(x-tra $).
IM me for more details if interested.

I've had a lot of PM's on the swap. However, I really don't know what it's worth. Please PM me with offers, only if you're serious. It's not worth my time to pull the motor out of the car for a $3k offer. I have 4 month old twins, and a 2.5 year old at home now.
The motor has maybe 1500 miles on it. I followed the well known break in procedure with 30w oil, VTEC turned off for 200 miles and below 5k rpms- gradual buildup thereafter, and used the car maybe 4-5 times at local track events. Other than the occasional terrorizing of local roads and 1 or 2 trips to the dragstrip, the car hasn't seen many miles.
1/4 mile runs..........
The car was built/setup for road course - not the drag strip. The car has 2.5 degrees negative camber and a couple of degrees toe out in the front. As Dropspeed can attest, i'm not a drag racer. With a JDM ITR header, aggressive(hard to tune) Comp Cam, and early state of tune (203whp), I ran a 12.8 @ 110 (1.9x 60 foot time) with my roughly 2300lb '94 hatch with a pair of 22x8x15" slicks on 15x7 Kosei K1 wheels. I now have a custom built, long tube, tri-y header with Burns merge collectors(adjustable), and a set of slightly milder Crane cams, and the motor made over 220whp and 153wtq in the end. The car should be good for mid/low 12's as it sits. In a car that's set up more for the drag strip, it should be even better.

As stated in the original post, it's a feeler at this point. I'm more than happy to take offers on the swap. However it'll have to be attractive enough for me not to sell my car as a whole.
btw: it's in a rust-free, phantom grey pearl '94 civic hatch, gutted, custom 6pt. chromoly roll cage, 5-lug conversion w/ NEW ITR brakes and NEW rear trailing arms!), Sparco Rev seats, custom long tube tri-y header, and custom 2.5" mandrel bent stainless exhaust, etc., etc.. (short list)
