Default I just have all the luck lol

Well I was putting my valve cover back on and I broke a screw that holds the rubber seal. So I siliconed it as a temporary solution. Heres a pic
What can I do to fix this problem?

It's a miracle when you started up your car that oil and **** didn't start leaking out that one side where the bolt was supposed to be. I'd have just left it how it was and wouldn't have messed with a "temp. solution". Anyways:

Scrap out all of that nasty **** you splattered into the hole. First take off the valve cover (if the bolt isn't stuck past the sealer), and clean it out very good. Then drill and tap the threads... Before you do that though, try and use needle-nose pliers to turn the screw if you can unscrew the bolt or pull it out. Be careful & GL!

wtf, lol. pull off the valve cover and remove the stud you should see that you should be able to use a crescent wrench and you can get it off, there is usualy aprefabbed spot on the head stud with a nut on it that you can loosen up. Then afterwards, go to a junkyard and get a new valve cover, and you can also pick up a stud off the same motor you get the valve cover off of.

yup, very easy fix, ive broke one or two before, take it off, torque it back down, remeber the 4 inside bolts though after the valve cover is off, is only 7 ft/lbs i believe..
