Default help on parts for budget build??

so my question is can anyone help me figure out some good pistions and what ever other suggestions about what else i can do.

and i already know that there are gonna be some things that will be expensive and there will be no way of getting around this fact...

i would most deffinately get an intake manifold. maybe even the hondata im gasket , possibly a throttle body. go for jdm b16b pistons. maybe a fuel pump, injectors, then get a little tuning action

youll want some valves before you put the springs and retainers in.

Realize that if you get an aftermarket intake manifold, that you'll almost guaranteed have fitment issues with your intake, as it's not factory. You should be able to cut the tubing and add an extra coupler to adjust for the fitment problems.

You do know that most aftermarket companies do R&D before producing these so called IM's with "fitment issues". My buddy has a Skunk2 IM on his GSR and he hasn't had any problem's.

ditch the header for a jdm itr or rage. get a 2.5'' exhaust. p30 pistons. arp rod bolts. single stage intake manifold with 3'' intake and vstack. crome or similar and tuning.

AKA you have dick done to your motor. Wonderful. Ditch the CTR cams and get something worthwhile like EF1 motorsports units or Stage 2 anythings. You already have valvetrain components - might as well make it a worthwhile upgrade with cams that are going to make real power. The CTRs should sell for enough that you can buy real cams and end up with money left over. Bonus.

Get a real exhaust manifold. No, not a JDM ITR or anything like that: get an RLZ or AN-R header. If you want power, you need to buy the right parts. If you're pretending, keep everything you have and be happy that you've saved money.

If you bump up to more aggressive cams, I suggest getting a large-plenum intake manifold. Blox and Skunk2 are cheap and effective, as is the Edelbrock Victor X.

Of course, all this will necessitate tuning. Look into Hondata S200 or Uberdata or Crome chipping for your stock ECU.

Pay to play. No such thing as a "budget" all-motor build.

You're welcome Unfortunately, there's truly no way to do all-motor without spending significant amounts of money. The payoff is sweet though. Nothing like a 1.8L engine that puts out 220 at the wheels without forced induction

And nothing like putting the same amount of money into a boost set up and pushing 330. Just joking with ya
