Need Help choosing the right cams for my set up!!! Pls help!

Default Need Help choosing the right cams for my set up!!! Pls help!

Ok guys! i need help choosing the right set of cams for my set up!

here's my set up:
b16a2 head p&p
jg valve springs & retainers
stock b16 cams
aebs intake manifold
portmatched t/b 68mm
rc 310 injectors
aem fpr & fuel rail
rage header

Bottom end:
stock gsr block for now!

im running a Hondata s200! daily driving car!

I was thinking of getting the s2s2 cams!
pls help me guys!

go with buddyclub spec 3 it will help you out. it better that type r or ctr cams

Unless you've planed the head, decked the block, are using a thinner head gasket or flat faced valves, you're only running around 9.8:1 compression. At that level I'd stick with BC 3 cams, Skunk2 stage 1 cams, blox A's or ITR/CTR cams.

Ok! thanks for the adviced guys! i appreciate it! i'll go with the stage 1... im using 2 layer head gasket, i have a high compression flat face supertech valves standard size...

atleast throw some ITR pistons in it. Its not too hard(or costly these days for that matter) to drop the crank down and toss some pistons in. Also those injectors are overkill

im just gonna try to run with the stock block first! then after that im gonna put a pistons for sure!

He's running a B18c, 310's are hardly considered to be overkill. Stock are 240's.

what do you guys prefer? the buddy club spec 3 or the skunk2 stage 1 cams?!

I had the S2S1's and loved them, they pulled really well in VTEC. BC3 cams seem to make better torque overall in many dyno graphs that I've seen. I'd go with whichever one you get the best deal on since they both work very well.
