I heard koni yellows were good but i'm putting these shocks with my ebay coilovers because im really on a budget O_O. My car is a daily driven car and it's dropped so any help on what I should do would be great! thanks for the future help!

the konis are the #1 shocks but if you dont have the money for them, try the kyb adj...i have them paired with ground controls and it rides great....

oo would that be stiff or bouncy with that set up? its a daily driven car and summer is coming up so i travel a lot. i wanna be able to hit a little dip and be like "hmm not so bad" and not "wtf just happen??"

i put tokico blues and skunk 2 springs on my EG and i love them. i still have to put the tower braced and tie bars and what not in the car but right now its tight

Doesn't matter what shocks you get for your eBay coilovers .... the ride is still going to be ****.

There is no such thing as baller on a budget. Do it right, or don't do it at all. You can get a very nice set of sport-rated lowering springs for less than $200 shipped. They will give you comfort and decent handling. Mate that with a good shock, and you've got solid gold.

Also, do not get Tokico Blues. They are just a stock replacement, and do not have the dampening capabilities and valving of higher-end shocks such as Koni Yellows or Tokico Illuminas.

Illuminas have a much more aggressive valving than the Koni Yellow's, but this does not necessarily make them a better or more high performance shock. I have them, and I wish every day that I shelled out another $200 for Yellows.
