b16 tranny cable to hydro

i got a b16a sir1 and its a cable tranny but i want to put it in my eg 1992 vx hatch but its a cable and the car is hydro, if i use a cable to hydro hasport thing would that work or is there problems with this method? i read somehwere on this site that its not recomended. please some one help me with this. thanks in advance.

comon guys, can some one please help me. the engine is just sitting there and i want to know what i should do. its a b16a sir1 with the corrosponding tranny. would that tranny even bolt in if i did a cable to hydro conversion?```
