Default Plz help, no codes but car running like ****

Hi
We have just done a dpfi to mpfi conversion. Once we got all the codes worked out, the car rine super fine, we let it run, still ran fine. Then we wanted to go for a test drive and the car started to run like ****. There is no codes, all the wires are fine, the guy doing the conversion has done it 4 times before with no problems and even did a write up.

The problem is, lets say the car is on idle (idles fine) and you floor it on neutral, it has problems getting up in the rpms. in 2nd gear for instance, if you maintain a steady speed the car will run fine, if you floor it then it bogs and has problems accelerating. On neutral, if you keep the rpms at 4000, then floor it then its fine, just like normal. But below that, it has problems getting up in the rpms, like if it was running on 3 cylinders.

its 23:30, we are about 2 hours drive from my house, and im working tomorrow at 7, im super-screwed please help.

if it was the map sensor, it would throw code 3 ?
it did throw code 3 when I had the Si ECU and didnt run good. now theres the PR4 91 teg ecu and there is no more codes and the car ran better, until a bit later when we wanted to go for a test drive. I will go back to the garage now and tell him about the igniter.

pull the cap off your distributor... the ignitor is the black box that is right on top. remove the + and - wires then there is 4 screws that hold it on.
