they are different....
No one is using a 99-00 grille in a 96-98...theyre using aftermarket "ctr style"

Take a few pix or one and post it up here.. I would have to say that you can't fit a 99' civic grill in a 98 civic. It fits different...

The way that I did my grill swap was there were about 4 screws on the bottom of the stock grill that can't be put back once the other grille is swapped (mine is mugen). You have to just slid it into place and then pop in the 5 or 6 plastic screw snap-in's on top. It should hold?

ummm..your title states that you have a 98 civic. 99-00 civic grills are longer...so it won't fit...not at all...

lmk thanks</TD></TR></TABLE>

so maybe you need to fix the title or word your thread nicely...clearer...

yea what they said....si grill will not fit on a 96-98 grill...buy a "CTR Style" grill for like 20 bucks.

No, I did read it.
How the hell am I "supposed to know what you mean" if you say "99-00 si grill"?
Am I supposed to read your mind, and figure out that in fact youre using a ctr style grill?
If you use the right words, you wont have these problems

Most ebay pieces of crap will not fit right either. Go big or go home. Buy a real 97-spec CTR grill.
