Default Building a LS or LS/VTEC for Boost, Which is better?

Well as the statement saids.. Which is better for boost. Straight LS or LS/VTEC? Any tips, Suggestions or info please let me know... I just bought a 96 Acura Integra LS which I want to keep for a veryyyy veryy Long time! So Let me know everything from Building it from scratch to a Pure Road Ripper!

It's pretty obvious if you search the forums. VTEC head flows better, lets you rev higher, gives you bigger cams, gives you more room to port it.

I say just boost the LS that is in there already. People have made well over 300 whp on stock LS blocks on pump gas. Might as well boost that nonVTEC. In the mean time buy a VTEC longblock and rework it's internals to be a little more durable so that you can go crazy with the whp.

Once you completed the built VTEC block, you could just drop it in the car and pretty much everything on your turbo setup would be usable with the brand new engine (minus the ecu for example).

True. I might just boost the LS Motor then.. How Much Psi is safe for daily on a stock LS?

on a stock LS motor it would be safe to boost about 10psi daily driver...but it also depends how you drive your car...

I think the OP should be more concerned with whp numbers, and not psi.
