hey guys .. well recently after i turn off my car i hear a ticing noise coming from what it seems under the car ..

at first the noise is really fast maybe a tic every 1/2 second... then it starts to slow down as the car sits . and eventually it stops ... i was just wondering what it was and how i could fix it (if its a big deal)

ok thas what i thought because i just got a new catalytic converter so i can pass smog ... would that have anything to do with it ?

 

its your exhaust cooling off. nothing you can do, what kind of question is this anyways? your exhaust expands b/c the heat and then you stop the heat, well what's going to happen. its going to shrink. what you hear is the pipe shrinking back down (you can't visibly see the size difference, just trust me. Just leave it alone.
