Default '99 ACURA TL - Maint Req'd Light - How can I reset it?

Can I do this myself?

Is this procedure described in the Owner's Manual?

Pull the "clock" fuse out on the passenger side fuse box.

Yes to both.

I don't recall it exactly but I believe you hold down the RESET button then turn the key to ON while continuing to hold the button down until the light goes out.

If all else fails I had a recurring light in my '06 A-Spec and I just pulled the battery terminal for a few moments.

Insert key into ignition but do not turn.

Press and hold "Select" and "Reset" next to the gauges.

Turn the key to the second slot (the position right before starting the car). Keep holding the buttons. Everything will turn on except for the engine.

Keep holding and in about 10 seconds, the maintenance light will go off.
