Traced the harness coming from the steering column to the blue connector above the drivers left knee (that's where I was told it would be). Don't see a Lt/Green or Blue/Red wire though. In this harness, I see:

Red
Green
Blue
Green/yellow
Green/red
Red/green
Black

Am I looking in the right place?

 

Are you looking for the horn relay? Or just looking for those two wires?

If you are just looking for those two wires, you could locate the horn relay (located on the left side of the center console under the dashboard, somewhat near the gas pedal, hard to tell in the manuals diagrams) which will have the LT GRN/BLU and BLU/RED wires as well as WHT/YEL and BLK wires, 4 wires tota. From there you should be able to trace the wires for whatever your trying to do.

 

Sorry, I am installing an alarm and was looking for the horn wire to connect to it.

ah, ok. well, if you find the horn relay (sorry if my description is a bit hard to follow) the BLU/RED wire goes to the horns and the LT GRN/BLU wire is coming from the horn switch. So find the relay and you should be good to go

 

OK, can't find the horn wire. One question though. Do I need the horn connected? The alarm has a the siren. Is the horn honking really necessary also?
