royal purple synchromax
I run it in my SHO and it works wonders, SHO gearbox is crap from the get-go and it shifts pretty damn good now.
Also run RP in my Stealth Gearbox, but its Max-gear not synchromax, but also works amazing.

I just switched to the new for '07 MTF from Honda on Saturday. That cleared things up for me. It's supposed to have a new additive or something different about it. Definately shifts smoother though

I used to have a SHO....It was a love/hate relationship
How do you know if you have the new Honda transmission fluid. Did you ask them and then call and made an appointment? Or were you just getting service done anyway and then ask them if they had it?

Honda used their remaining "old" MTF in production runs at the end of last year I believe. I bought my 07 in december.
I was getting my complimentary first oil change and decided to try it since my tranny had gotten pretty notchy for as few miles as the car had on it. Wasn't free though.. no biggie though.
A guy posted this awhile back, got me thinkin'
"In January Honda monthly news, there has been a new MTF release by Honda that will supposely fix this issue. The reason 07 are having the same problem as 06 is because the factory continued to use the old fluid until they ran out. Below is the part number. Honda recommand changing the MTF if you are experiencing this problem before further repair is perform."

"This new MTF offer better shift quality in cold weather(especially in freezing temperatures), and it's got better friction reduction for improved fuel economy and longer transmission life."
