Default How much should I sell my '93 Del Sol Si for?

The car is all stock aside from an intake tube and filter. Interior is in good condition, engine has always been maintained and taken care of. All of the seals and weather stripping is good, all power window functions work perfectly. Power Steering and A/C work great as well. CV axles have under 1,000 miles on them. No collisions or body damage at all. There is no bondo, rust or body damage on this car.

The only real problem is the transmission will grind if you shift past 4500 RPM, I always drive casually so it does not bother me. Other things are the throwout bearing will make noise if you play with the clutch and some of the clear coat is peeling, especially on the roof.

chassis: '93 Del Sol Si
mileage: 178k
color: black
interior: black
engine: D16Z6
transmission: 5 speed (stock)
wheels: stock si (fat five alloys)
suspension: stock

How much is it worth? I'm actually selling because I have a turbo b16 setup almost done and i'd like to swap it into a EG hatch or EK hatch.

Post it for like $2,800 so ppl can bid you down a little and you can still get what you wanted out of it.

Actually, you should post your car for sale in your local paper for $3800 and let every college-aged girl and ricer boy come start a war on your front lawn to get it. The Del Sol is the most highly desireable of the "EG" Civics because so many girls think it's cute.

Yes, I'm being dead serious. Put it in the paper, get decent money, move on with your plans.

I bought my 93Si for $2800 with 110,000miles. So with the mileage and tranny probs i wouldnt expect much.

Double s.

You can easily sell it to some dumb parent looking for a "sporty" car for their new 16 year old driver for 3500. They can try blue booking it - then just tell 'em it's mint condition, never abused, etc. etc.

This is going to sound dumb, but paint the valve cover back black or krinkle black.
