Default Endlink Noise (Function7)

I just installed my Function7 Heim-type endlinks on my 98 Coupe and was just wondering if a small amount of rattling is expected? It's nothing terrible and it's not frequent.. just when i hit smaller bumps (sounds like change jingling).

Everything is tight and i installed lock washers between the joints and the space left on the bolt.

Again.. I'm not really bothered by it but i'm just wondering if there's a rattle that comes a long with these type of endlinks? Thanks!

did you double check your work to make sure everything is torqued? sounds like there could be a bolt loose somewhere.

yeah i've been over everything 3 times now and greased up a few key spots.

It's not a constant sound.. just happens when i'm at low speeds

Car feels very very solid too

you have to tighten up the suspension when it is compressed. i cant think of the proper wording but when i did my comptech rear sway, i had to put it all together, lower the car to the ground, then tighten it up.

damn i cant think of what thats called.

I've heard of "other than stock" endlinks making noise.. i actually figured it would be worse. I just want to make sure the endlinks aren't broken.

Glad the oem's worked out for you

That sound is the whole end-link freely rotating around the bearings and taping against the washers. The metal-to-metal sounds like change jingling. Nylon washers give you metal tapping against nylon which makes almost no noise at all...
