carbon fiber

How do carbon fiber hoods holed up in the winter?
I live in up state n,y and I have a carbon fiber hood for my car. they seem fragile to me.

Shouldn't worry about that. Is the extreme heat/fire that can actually damage them!

quality CF products should be extremely heat and fire resistant. the most common problems i see with CF hoods is the cheap ones having shitty clear coats that fades, cracks, and even sometimes melt due to heat and UV rays.
