Default Should I be concerned about my alternator? Coolant spilled

99 Civic EX...in the middle of my timing belt change procedure....took off the water pump and managed to spill some coolant on my alternator. How concerned should I be?

I won't be putting it back together for another day or two so it will dry....but should I remove it and open it up and clean it? Replace it perhaps? Or is this not too big a deal?

Thanks

I wouldnt worry about it,its down fairly low enough that it gets wet during normal driving.

Coolant doesn't evaporate anywhere near as quickly as water. I'd dump a bit of water on the alternator to rinse it out. Other than that, not a problem.

Thanks for the suggestions, guys! I won't panic....the car is actually sitting half complete during this whole week because I didn't feel like finishing the job over the weekend I'll let everything dry out then put it back together next Sat...I usually don't get this convenience but there are extra cars around due to family on vacation
