Don't know much about this subject, but from the images I'd go for the red one since it's 170 and the other white brace 345. What you plan on doing to and with your car since you want a brace? I don't know anyone with one either, but I'm also interested on how it is.

Why would you need the 6 point unless your slapping a huge turbo and tons of motor work and then tracking your car. Unless he's doing that than yeah gett the carbing, other wise save some money.

I work for BMW and I agree 100% with the top 2 posts. Your talking about cars that go for $60,000 or more (in case of the M5). You don't need a brace for that. Just do a rear strut brace and do the under sway bars and good coil kit .

Dudes I got a rear strut, felt no difference.

I think at about 250 HP a nice suspension,
I could take a M3 on track. expletive If a 4 door
Si on spoon coils could take a S2k. I could
take the M3

if your car is 250Whp then maybe at the drag
but anything else, forget about it
m3s (especially e46) are near to perfectly built for all around performance
i'll love to take one on from a roll though to see how i do
but i think those things make low-mid 13s stock

I drive them everyday at work and they're quick, but straight line they're beatable since they are strictly track cars.

M3 333HP 262 LBS 3417LBS curb weight 68-70 salom 13.7 Quarter mile.

M5 500HP 383 LBS 4012 Curb weight 69.2 mph salom 12.8 quarter mile

These numbers are not too impressive.
I've chased a M5 through Dallas and I was proud how my ride kept up.
He was was pulling away but not at a alarming speed.
I'm sway bar maxed. Once i decide on a set of coils,
the Carbing piece and maybe they're lower rear brace
my suspension will be complete. A couple bolt on changes,
Toda Stroker kit and KPro. I'll be close.

I know a stock M3 speed in the trap is 108.
