Default First time at the Track

I went to Englishtown for the first time today. My times kind of sucked, but I suppose it takes practice.

My Performance Mods:

Greddy Evo2
Injen Short Ram Intake

First Run

R/T - .791
60' - 2.423
330 - 6.610
1/8 - 10.029
MPH - 72.50
1000 - 12.948
1/4 - 15.420
MPH - 91.73

Second Run

R/T - .760
60' - 2.588
330 - 6.807
1/8 - 10.208
MPH - 73.92
1000 - 13.102
1/4 - 15.531
MPH - 93.29

My first run I launch at 3000/500rpm. The second run I launched around 2500rpm. First run was without VSA, second was with VSA.

Any tips?

VSA off. launch at 5k. feather the clutch. power shift. feel the track. track conditions and weather play a big role. good luck

me personally...i could care less for tire pressure now...its because im not going to lower my tire pressure out on the streets....and VSA off most definately....i pulled a 15.3 bone stock launching at the rev limiter hahaha. but im going to try 3500rpm next time...cause my 60 foot was my worst on that time...a 2.5. but yeah...practice and powershift. dont miss gears.

Looks like you need to work on the launch. If you can get your 60' down in the 2.0-2.2 range, you'll be in the 14's. Just takes practice.
