I've installed Tein HA coilovers complete with upper pillow mounts on my 2000 ITR. The coilovers were intended for an EG6, but I got them for a really good deal so it didn't really matter.

Anyways, I lowered the coils all the way to the bottom of the sleeve and installed them on my car. The height did not change compared to stock whatsoever!

What can be wrong? Should I remove the helper springs?

 

You can remove the helper springs, but check for shock travel that it is not riding on the bumpstops.

 

did you assemble the teins yourself?

 

yes I assembled them myself... is there anything I should look for? It is pretty straight forward though....

 

hm...this is very strange.

do you have any pictures of the coilovers prior to install?
or a good shot of it on the car?
