Default HI guys : f20c engine + rsx type s tranny = compatible?

Im about to buy a FA next week and still got some money left.. i found a cheap f20c low millage and a rsx type s tranny and i want to know if its compatible, like i heard from some guy (BS OR NOT)... i'll come back to check your answers :D thanks guys

uhhh i really doubt it just 'bolts on' f20c is a rwd motor, rsx tranny is a fwd tranmission...

No, they both turn clockwise. Its already been done and i've seen pictures, but with an adapter plate, i think.

heres a pic......i had an f20 motor in my shop at one time and lined it up with a K tranny...the top 2 bolts line up perfectly but nothing else.

someone get some pictures of the engine side mount... You can see the tranny mount, and no other mounts... OOOOH, magic floaty motor voodoo!

f20c is a very reliable motor also, pushing the envelope never hurt. as to the guy who said it was photoshopped, look at the camera flash angle of incidence and
the fact that the shadows behind the bellhousing are consistent with it being
in the actual photograph. just an observation

it has been done but it required extensive modification to the bell housing of the k-series transmission
