Fiberglassing: Resing just the edge or wrap around?
I am confused on how to join fiberglass and wood.
On the picture below it shows the fleece that is stapled to the bottom of the project to hold it.

So after its flipped up, it looks like this

What I am trying to figure out is on this bottom picture. When fiber glassing, do you also put resin on the fleece that’s on the bottom side where it is stapled or do you just put it on the very edge but not put resin wrapped around to the bottom?

I would imagine you would cover that little bit of fleece on the bottom aswell. logically this seems that it would give you more structural integrity. And since its on the bottom it wont matter any how will it? just my 2 cents

Also, Hint.... MDF is a very porous material, cover all MDF inside surfaces with at least one coat of resin, including the cut edge of the mounting hole.
