Hello everybody,


SpeedTrialUSA has an instructional road racing school for enthusiasts of all driving levels, with all makes and models of car, on Saturday, April 14 at GingerMan Raceway in South Haven, MI. This is your chance to take your driving skills and your car to the limit while learning the basics of auto racing in an educational, fun, and controlled environment.





This event is $155 for the day if you preregister prior to April 7 ($175 after April 7) and includes intstruction for all levels of driver and also your tech inspection. We will be running our groups in 20 minute sessions, so you will have a ton of track time! Arrive at the track at 7:30am, Drivers meeting at 8:30 am, first session begins at 9am.

People who aren't familiar with this track should be aware instructors aren't provided by default for the more experienced run groups. The last event I went to in October instructors were only provided for novice students. I was there in intermediate with 2 other guys (1 of who had never been to Gingerman) and none of us had assigned instructors. The intermediate and higher classes are more of an open track day with corner workers. Although I was able to get an instructor for 1 of my afternoon sessions that day.

It's a fun time and the event is pretty well run but if you feel you need an instructor ask for 1 well in advance.

Though we will continue to provide tech inspections at the track, pre-tech'ing your car will ensure you the most track time and also allows time just in case something is wrong.
