all type r trannys ares S80 correct?
how much is that case and how can you tell if the lsd has been removed because someone is trying to say its not type r and that there was never an lsd and the guy is acting shady

If it doesn't have LSD (open diff), consider it a B16 tranny.

the tranny case should have LSD painted or printed on it, but its not imprinted. and take it to a shop and let them test it... why not buy the engine with case? get A GSR Tranny!
