Wierd ECU conversion question: carbeureted to DPFI with MPFI head :)
I know this is a bit of a stretch, but this is my situation:
I just bought another CRX. The motor is a carbeureted single cam but the carbeuretor is messed up. The motor is good and turns over, doesn't smoke. I have an extra D16 head, intake, throttle body and fuel rail from a multi-point motor, and a PM5 dual-point ECU. Is there any way I can wire the MPFI head with the DPFI computer? I just need it to convert it to drive reliably long enough for me to drive it home.
Thanks.

im not exactly sure what your attempting, but its probably not going to work. pm5 will not run multi point. and how do you plan to wire the multi point in a cabuerated car? sorry dude...... it aint happening.
I'm just trying to get this car running without having to mess with the carbueretor or buy any new parts, since I'm not going to keep the motor. I'll do a whole head swap if it comes down to it, but damn... I have some spare parts as mentioned, and quite a few wiring harnesses from parts cars. I just need some way to wire up the MPFI head. It don't gotta run great, it's just gotta run.
So what do I need, a PM6 ECU? Anyone got one for sale? I'll drop 50 bucks for a working one; maybe we could trade something?
