Default B shift linkage

After searching and everything and not really getting an answer, only what people did or used. I am lead to believe that either a B series shift linkage would have to be modified or a aftermarket bought for use with a B series into an EF Civic.

Mainly just want to make sure that a stock DA linkage wont work without modification. If by a very lucky chance I were to find a EF SiR linkage, that would work though, correct?
