Default '91 CRX rear defogger switch

So anyone know if the rear defogger switch of a 91 CRX stays pressed in when in the 'on' postition?

I am trying to decide if my switch is faulty and if I need to purchase a new one. When I press the switch it just comes right back and does not stay pressed in.

I am guessing it does but I have no way of knowing for sure.

my 91 sedans DEFROSTER switch doesnt stay in.. there should be a light that comes on to tell you, or you can hear the relay switch on.. or if your idleing you can watch your rpms drop when it comes on.
