swapping a gsr in a 93 do i need shift linkage?

swapping a gsr in a 93 do i need shift linkage?
well do i? i have the bitch pin side of the shift linkage but not the other side..for the gsr i have the stock 93 d-series linkage.. how can i modify it to work?
