do R's have galvanized steel?

I read somewhere that all Type R's came with galvanized steel, where all other integra's of the same year that were non Type R didn't. Is this true?

Galvanizing a steel is for rust protection. It has nothing to do with performance and is pretty heavy stuff. So I don't think that is true.
