i'll do my best to help

first off, 02-04 naturally dyno lower than us 05-06, so expect a few whp less

lets start with the cai
most popular are injen, aem, fujita
from my experience it goes like this
fujita > injen > aem
fujita up top because it performs the same for a cheaper price

now the raceheader
which eliminates the cat and is illegal by the way but for optimum gains
raceheader >>>>> shorty header (even with a test pipe)
dc is my choice for budget
but if you have the cash, i would go toda, buddyclub, or ssr

exhaust
ton of pics and vids here

http://forums.clubrsx.com/showthread.php?t=228923

but the best choice for the overall price/gain/sound would be the stock 05-06 exhaust imo
there's plenty of people selling them on clubrsx so check those out

there is only ONE k-pro
read around the hondata.com site for your application
the reflash is a good alternative if you want to save some cash and upgrade later

-------------------
cliff notes-
on "budget" get
fujita cold air intake/dc race header (stainless)/05-06 exhaust/esmm/k-pro

"ballin" get
fujita cold air/ssr race header/buddy club or hks/innovative mounts/k-pro

if you have any question, don't be afraid to ask
i'm usually on all nights since i'm at work
------------------

*this is all personal opinion*

happy modding

there is only ONE k-pro
similar to the aem engine management system
your able to tune your car with both
but for our car
k-pro > aem hands down
the reflash for your year has different stages depending on your mods
reflashes can not be tune
its a set it and forget it type thing

02-04 exhaust are NOT the same as 05-06

the whole cat-back of the 02-04 are very restrictive as opposed to the 05-06

so....
type-r /05-06 exhaust > 02-04 exhaust
type-r, imo is slightly better than the 05-06, but not enough that it even matters
just see which price you can get a better deal on and go with that

What I meant was that they are the same dimension, but yes. The '05-'06 is more open.

thanks man, just a few more questions, if i go and have bigger pipeing run from the header back to my stock 02 muffler will that be just as good as a 05 exhaust ?, and here is my mods. Fujita intake, race header, and 05 type s exhaust. with just that on there would it be better to go with a k-pro or just reflash?. because thats all the mods that will ever be done to it.

i would get the whole exhaust system of a 05-06
they are not that expensive used, what... maybe 200 bucks
if you get the i/rh/e and not plan on upgrading anything else, the hondata #4 reflash is fine
but k-pro is still better or course
like i said, you can always upgrade from a reflash to k-pro
so try out the reflash first, then upgrade if you want more

With all the stuff on you '06 RSX aren't you worried about your warrenty incase something happens? I also want to get HIDs. I want to get 8000k. Where did you mount the ballasts? If you have image can you post?

I'm shopping around Ebay for a nice pair of HID's. Can't wait to get rid of my stock lights. Should I keep my stock rsx fogs or change to other color?

just use common sense and don't drive over deep puddles of water and you should be fine
i've had a cai in my 05 as well for a year and it was fine also
but the reflash and k-pro works best with a coldair

fine pics of some silver cars with yellow fogs and compare them according to your taste
and STAY AWAY FROM EBAY WHEN GETTING HIDS

Those look great and that's a perfect spot for the ballast too. Is there a reason why you didn't put both in the bumper?
I think i'll keep my fogs stock, although my friends tell me to get yellow to go with 8000k HID's. Why do you say to stay away from ebay. You just got to make sure the ballasts are quality. The ones i'm looking at are McCulloch or Pilot Kits. Plus you can save lots of money, but I get what your saying, you can get screwed to if your not careful.

ebay may offer warranty, but if they don't answer your calls or emails then what?
8000k is bluer than mine in those pics, they look ok though
different people have different taste

the reason i put one ballast in the bay is because the ballast itself will conduct corrosion(sp?) over time (like the battery) it just easier to keep an eye on it if i have a problem with them later on
that would be the first thing i would check
