Would you trade a 92 gsr for a 93 h22 prelude?
I have a 92 gsr which i do love alot......"even though im selling it" but i have a guy with a 93 prelude with the h22a.
Im not really a fan of those preludes but i wanna try out a h22. So give me some thoughts on this
thanks

I do like that body style Prelude, and the H22 is a nice motor... but in all reality, the original DB Integras are worth keeping.
NO!!!! lol.. i have a 92 gsr and would NEVER trade for a prelude lol.. unless he's giving you some good cash on top, but still NO!!

like everyone says i as well would say no, the prelude has a nice body style yet the teg is a gem, from my experience a hard car to find in good condition. unfortunately i let one fall through the cracks about a year ago

or the fact the its the fastest rated gs-r ever made in the 1/4 and from 0-60. low, low 15's @ 90+ mph from 1.7L's with 9.7/1 c.r. sounds like a great achievement from that platform. i'm ol' school 4 life.

Look at the OP's signature. He is looking to part with the GSR anyway. So instead of an even trade for the Prelude, I suggest that he sells the GSR, buys the Prelude, and then pockets the remaining cash from the sale of the GSR.

i would need to see pictures of both cars to judge i dont no how all these people can say no. with out even seeing how your car looks and the other car. is your car clean title? runs good? no grids? and no leaks? whats the miles like on both cars? and how is the other car like? more detail would make judging a lot better. but me personally would keep the da. correct me if im wrong dont 92 gsr b 1.7 come with lsd tranny. and a 93 prelude u can make fast but wouldnt be anywhere near as easy as an da. a friend of mines have an da gsr and his car beats a lot of cars. they are fun small cars to smash around in. b serious engine over h all day
if you really want a h engine, go for a h22a swap in your gsr and sell the b17 setup (h22s are cheap power compared to b16s and b17s) would you rather have a rare nice looking integra or a space shuttle prelude? the integra should be worth more since they are hard to find.
i wouldnt even consider it a fair trade if the prelude was swapped. the guy offering the trade must know he is trying to duke you.
your car in clean condition would pull double what the prelude in the same condition would.
and as for the "no replacement for displacement" line, thats true when talking about even chassis, the teg GS-R will rip the lude a new one in ANY performance comparison.
point being: DO WHAT YOU WANT, BUT YOU WILL BE LOSING IN THE END.

I would say dont do it. Also who cares that it is a g2 GSR. Whoopty doo that they are rare. No one will pay more than $4.5k for one. I have one in my garage that I was trying to sell a while back with everything original on low miles and people would low ball me all day.
