I have seen that ITR at the dealership..

Its brutal.

It had a paintjob of a 3 year old, all blurry and muzy in some places, you can easily tell. They even got too lazy to take out the rear windows so its chippng. Let alone it has 140,000kms and the stealer wants $17,000.

yea went to see it myself as well. some 2bit dealer is selling it now. erin mills must of sold it wholesale to the no name dealer b/c they found out it was in a accident. the right passenger front was all replaced because "the previous owner hit a sidewalk thats why the whole car was painted". There are numerous things wrong with it, let alone half the oil is missing on the dip stick indicating its burning significant amount of oil....this R is in poor condition for that money

i went to see that car myself. It is located at Motorway down the street from the Acura dealership on Motorway drive or something at the Erin Mills autopark. that car isnt worth anything from what i've seen. they cleaned the **** out of it and it is soo bad on the inside. as the person said before, it was painted, and the dealer guy admitted it. from what ive seen, the front bumper was also replaced and the paint job isnt Type R phoenix yellow paint. the front bumper is not flush with the fenders on either side. The paint is crackin and flaking like a mother and the car doesnt even start. i wanted to go for a test drive and the dude said i had to agree with the price first. tried to start it to hear how i it ran and to drive it and wouldnt even crank. told me it was the batter and because it was sitting for so long... im like yea right, my friend went to jail for 4 months and came out and his B16 started with no hesitation. so i was like BS. within a couple weeks of sitting outside im sure it will start rusting alont the windows. its looks nice in pics but it is not worth 17G's. i would give him 13 MAX. hope he has fun trying to sell it. im a laugh at the fool who buys it and tries to redo everythig after paying 17G's for it.

just because it has type r stickers on it, somehow they can sell that piece of crap for $8K more than its worth?

 

ALSO that same Motorway Dealership sold a shittier TypeR last year late summer. it was a white one. It was in worse condition than this Teg and he was selling it for 13. i didnt go see it but people were talking about it on here. Proper TypeRs are very hard to find these days. they arent made anymore and people arent taking care of them. instead of buying this one, might aswell spend that money on a TypeS
