hey guys
i purchased a 1988 civic hatchback last sunday and its going to be going thru alot of changes over the next few months and i thought u guys might enjoy seeing the progress.
first thing was the car didnt run so i went to zerolift autolab monday and purchased a really clean jdm b16 obdo swap for the car.
the car had a jdm d15b in it and the worlds most ghetto *** wiring job ive ever seen. it had a bulldog alarm that was lol horribly put in, about 12 little led lights all over the dash and center console including the shift ****. and they used wiring from a house lamp to hook up the electric fan switch lol. just so u guys know where im coming from. the gauge cluster was broke, but the car has minimal rust, no real body damage, and a very clean set of front seats.
so tuesday i started unhooking all the hoses and wiring from the motor so we could pull it out. my buddy jeremy came over and got rid of all the led lights, alarm system and all the crap wiring. so now it looks pretty stock under the hood and dash now thank god.
friday we pulled the d motor out and got rid of the old obx exhaust lol. i went and picked up some black paint for the engine bay, and did a slight wire tuck. i also purchased a jdm crx sir gauge cluster thats in great shape so that should fix that problem.
saturday im cleaning and sanding the engine bay and sunday were going to paint it black with base coat clear coat. so hopefully it looks good. i also ordered a exedy stage one clutch kit, and act pro light flywheel, timing belt, waterpump and and walboro 255 fuel pump.
thats all ive gotten around too so far but not bad for a week i dot think. anyway ill have pics up here soon and id appreciate any comments u guys might have.
