so my car throws the following cel now. 2long then 8 short, then a long break and repeats, isnt that 28? which doesnt exhist, 22 is vtec problem and 8 is tdc issues. so when im driving and the cel goes on, theres no vtec and the car just feels bogged, if im cruising and the cel comes on all i have to do is flip the ignition off then on again and it cruises just fine. the cel comes on randomly. could be 3 times in an afternoon, or doesnt come on for weeks. it seems like if i downshift and decelerate without using the breaks, it comes on like that sometimes.can anybody shed some light on this please, im lost.

oh yeah, thanks chad. electrical load detector circuit low or high input, i guess i need a diagnostic reader to tell me which one. thats kind of weird how it coincides with tdc messing up
