Default Another Integra stolen off the streets of Los Angeles

Well ladies and gentlemen, its been fun while it lasted. I have learned alot from all the great people on this forum. The time has come for me to call it quits.
Last month, some one stole my Integra with a fully built B20Vtec and stripped the car of all my top notch parts. They were nice enough to leave my RSR muffler. (thanks) The thieves left my car on the street after they were done hacking it apart and the wonderful parking police for the city of Los Angeles awards me a $50 parking ticket on top of all the . All my sweat and tears gone!

FYI: I have been living is Los Angeles for about 2 years but only had my Integra down here for 1.5 months. My car was stolen after 1 month of driving in LA. Unbelievable!

Be advise, I had the Chrome AutoLock tightly secured on my clutch. When the car was recovered, the autolock was still tightly secured on the clutch. The autolock works! but the crooks can still steal your ride.

Time to move on with life and stop worrying about the stuff I can not control. Peace out everyone....

Thanks for the input tristantiojanco. I dont know how the thieves stole my car. All I know is that the first thing I saw when I went to inspect the car at the impound was the AUTOLOCK. My best guess is that they used a Tow Truck.
My integra has been recovered and only the shell is left. Its been sitting at the impound lot for the past 4 days but it was sold today. I sold to a dude for a good price because I just wanted to close the chapter on this book. I had no intentions of rebuilding it because its too much work for me. I already put in a **** load of late nights and weekends building the B20Vtec motor.

"Its better to be a racer for a moment than a spectator for life."

Time to look for another hobby. hmmmm....any ideas?

buy one or four of these, it will be hard for them to steal a car with them on.

I hate reading these kinds of posts - sorry about your loss. What other security did you have besides the autolock? I got layer upon layer upon layer of security but I still feel like I don't have enough. I still get paranoid leaving it anywhere. GL with your new project when you get it.

Unless you know me from San Jose...i didnt have any friends in Los Angeles. Its tough to meet new friends when you work in a 25 person company and everyone is in their 50s.

Moved here for work and this **** happens...I am thinking of moving back home now. This city is full of homeless musicians and starving actors. My ride was taken off Venice Blvd and Hughes Ave. 90034

Not a bad neighborhood considering 2 blocks away is downtown CulverCity.

even if they cut the wire to the clutch, how are they able to shift the gears with the autolock on? Unless they forcefully throw it in gear without the clutch

to OP, sorry for lost, makes me want to get out of the scene too

Not the actual wire that shift gear. Sensor wire that's why the autolock clutch didn't work

Thanks fellas for all the condolences. Enjoy your rides and engines while you can. At any moment it can be gone in a flash. I was lucky to have enjoyed 214whp from my B20vtec while it lasted.
