im on a mission here one that isnt to be the fastest i can be but to make a car that is fun for me to drive and use daily. there is alot of hype over vtec, nothing wrong with it but im just not interested in having it in this car, also most anyone will say the only other way to get signifigant power out of an ls is boosting. either way i refuse to take those 2 routes instead im making a car that i feel is fast enough for my everyday needs without being like everyone else in the world.

so far i have

highflow cat
2'' lowering eibach springs on order
brand new cv axles
braided breaklines
drilled rotors on back order

now my question is... im having a hard time finding a good cam for a non vtech dohc, same goes for intake manifold.
also at some point in time i might consider installing a nitrous system...small doses like the skinny hidden nos tanks. other than nitrous coated rings what should i look for in a piston. already looking into eagle rods but have searched and cant seems to get exactly what im looking for.

anyone recomend a cam for daily use that would still do well with nos. only talking about spraying 4 or 5 times in a year if i get talked into going to the track nothing too major cuz the bottle would be at home 98% of its life.
