Default 50 dollar paintjob HELP!

Ok so I finished the job yesterday and still the paint has streaks from the roller and some ripples. What can I do to get it looking shiney and smooth. I'm not sure if i'm wetsanding right or if I'm using the right grit. I've been using 1500, plenty of water and sanding straight forward and back. I also bought some polish but all that does is help it shine.

hmm, you might not be rolling the paint good enough, you need to make sure you're painting everything evenly, the paint is made to level off. 1500 grit won't help you until the last layer. try 600 to 800 grit to try and get it even, then do another layer and see if that's better.

lol, polish won't remove streaks - that's the paint not applied evenly.
