Which one...new header or new short shifter?
Ok...I might be able to purchase both, but most likely one or the other. So which will help my cars('87 Si) performance more? A header(pacesetter or chikara) or a Pacesetter Short Shifter?
thx.
thx.
Neither - DC Sports 4-2-1 header - ceramic or SS.
11.7 HP and 9.1 ft/lbs Gained on the B20A(5) motor. Baseline blue.
As for shoft shift, no need for after market, shift is fine, helps to chop the stick though.

That's my car BTW, just the previous owner - antonio

ok...the header sounds like a great idea...its just DC is a bit out of my price range at the moment...also are the improvements in HP the same for the 2nd gen lude like mine, will I get roughly 11 HP from it or is it less?
With the short shifter...will cutting it be the same as the 3rd gen...your car was a 3rd gen and does that really shorten the throws?
Pacesetter claims that their shifter will shorten shift throws by up to 80%(summit racing catalog), does cutting the it offer the same results, or is Pacesetter talking out their asses?
thx for the info, more would be appreciated of course.
