Need help with tranny through out bearing spring.
How the hell do you get it off? I took the one bolt off that holds the fork on, but all that happens is the arm slides back and forth. How do you get the arm off so I can replace the through out bearing spring, mine is broke.
It's a 1990 Integra cable tranny.

The part that the cable attaches to should slide out the side of the case. I can't remember if there are any bolts involved
It can be kind of a pain to get that spring back in there...FYI

on the shaft that the spring is on is a bolt, take it out. then put a screwdriver between the cable arm and the case to pry it loose, it then pulls out.
getting the spring back on is easy, hook the spring into the bearing like it is supposed to go with the fork in between, slide the cable arm back in and move the spring around till the holes line up.
15 minutes, tops
