no.
only the gsr has a b18c1 engine.

the SE is just an integra ls that has all of the options that a gsr would(sunroof, leather, etc).

Only the GSR and type r have vtec. no others, unless done so aftermarket.

man there's no such thing as SE with GSR motor. If it was i would and a lot of people would be searching for SE integra for the c1 motor. Maybe the one u saw slap on a SE badge to fool people. Just like how some gsr taking off their tails and slap on ls mesh rims to fool people so they can initiate a race. Pretty good idea..hummm I might do that with my gsr hahah.

there is, its called a swap

the ls mesh rims were also gsr rims
and tail lights did not change throughout the models

You're only trying to start an argument by saying that reply to his..

because Yes actually there is no such thing as an SE with a gsr motor,
This wasn't a thread made to talk about swaps, it was asking if an SE came with a vtec motor.

as far as most of us know, there were never ever automatic integras equipped with twincam vtec motors sold by an Acura dealership in North America

also back to the OP, the SE integras sold in north america were all dohc 1.8L motors, non-vtec

Yes. Yes, your mind was certainly playing tricks on you. Honda never imported automatic equiped GS-R Integras to the U.S. It is very likely that any GS-R automatics you saw were either swaped, fo-GS-Rs (as in a non-vtec Integras disguised as a GS-R), or an SE model (I used to confuse them all of the time).

So as to contribute to the topic of this thread:
The SE model Integra was everything a GS-R was, but without the vtec motor. A cross between an LS, and a GS-R really (it was later replaced by the GS model).

The whole "JH4DC2" meant your car had Vtec or in the sedan's case DB7?...
Honda of NA never sold a DOHC 1.8L Vtec engine with an automatic as others have stated above..

Hmnn did Canadia get an auto GSR? or they didn't either?

If by SE you mean "Special Edition" then no, it has a B18B.

Why thank-you. I try to contribute what I do know, and tend to stay out of discussions that I do not know.

As far as I know, there was never an auto GSR anywhere in North America. I know there was in Japan but I don't know about Europe or Australia.

i think you got confused with the "special edition sticker" with DOHC VTEC sticker. it looks similar from a far distant

Yep. No autos in the GSR package. 2 or 4 doors didn't matter. Kinda like no automatic for the S2000.

Pisses alot of elders off when they want a sportier car but without an option for auto.

Thats why I like my db8.
